My Story
Empowerment Through Art and Education
Diagnosed with autism at age three, I confronted numerous speech and social challenges. Yet, these obstacles only fueled my inherent curiosity and unwavering passion for learning, guiding me through a distinctive educational journey.
Art transformed my life under the nurturing guidance of an exceptional mentor, Ms. Chen YinChun. Her belief in the profound power of art to express and connect opened new horizons for me, allowing me to communicate in ways I never imagined possible. Through her mentorship, I discovered my voice and achieved milestones once thought unreachable—I earned a computer certification and pursued a degree in Digital Media at Chinese Culture University.
Now, as a computer instructor at the Taiwan Autistic Arts Association, my mission is to ignite similar transformations in young autistic artists. By teaching, I aim to inspire them to find their unique voices and establish their places in the world, perpetuating the cycle of inspiration and empowerment initiated by Ms. Chen.
